GEA Group April 2008
Background:
Buck Systems is a subsidiary of GEA, a worldwide company based in Germany.
Recently, Buck Systems has been forced to make a series of redundancies.
Jenrick Engineering was able to assist them and their staff by providing an ‘out-placement clinic.’
This is where several of Jenrick’s recruitment consultants are invited to the offices of Buck Systems to individually consult with staff members that are being made redundant.
The service provides staff, who may not have been in the job market for a number of years, with the opportunity to have expert advice on how to formulate their CV, approach interviews, as well as being able to register and apply for positions through Jenrick (to avoid any periods of unemployment).
The following testimonial was sent to Joanne Bailey, one of the Jenrick Engineering Consultants.
Testimonial:
"Dear Jo and the Jenrick Team,
We really appreciate your time and that of your colleagues. We really want the people affected here to realise that we are trying to help them at this difficult time.
Our Managing Director was so impressed with Jenrick's set-up and approach for the outplacement clinic, in particular the poster that you created and forwarded to us, the advertisement stand outside the meeting room door and of course the actual advice offered to all our staff. He especially commented on how you put all of this together at such short notice.
Thank you again for all your efforts."
Best regards
HR / Office Manager, Buck Systems
