I started working for Jenrick Engineering in April 2007; I began as a temporary administrator covering maternity leave on a fixed term contract. My background was in sales and in June 2007 I was given the opportunity to move into my current position – as a consultant. I enjoy the daily challenges and the variety within my role along with the sense of satisfaction the job brings.
Jenrick is my first experience of working in Recruitment and I have learnt plenty about myself. I was very excited in January of 2009 when I was presented with Salesperson of the Year. It never fails to give me a buzz when I see the smile on successful candidate’s faces and in hearing how pleased my clients are with the service I provide.
Since being with Jenrick I have built relationships with many organisations particularly within the Logistics/Distribution and Packaging sectors. My clients include; Saica Pack (formerly Saica Packaging Ltd), DHL, Partner Logistics, Decoma Sybex, Povoas Packaging, Mahle Powertrain Ltd, Cummins Generators and Avon.
It’s a great feeling when my clients comment on my work approach, my comprehensive understanding of their requirements and when they contact me with repeat business as it’s testament they value my service and trust me to source the right people for their organisation.
My outfit? Well, when I’m not juggling work, three children aged 17, 14 & 11 years old and two step children aged 10 and 6 (with busier social lives than mine) - I enjoy biking . . . It’s my escape!
