Background:

Jo Eley received this testimonial from an engineering contractor who recently completed his 10 month contract through Jenrick Engineering.

John initially contacted Jenrick Engineering as he was seeking career progression; Jo placed him as a Contract Coding Engineer at a global company which supply fasteners to the automotive, aerospace and MOD sector. The client has numerous UK depots including the Birmingham site.

The client always insists on contractors who can ‘hit the ground running’ and as such they only take on engineering professionals with previous knowledge of their specific products, which makes finding suitably skilled engineering professionals quite difficult.

The client has been working with Jenrick Engineering since 2007, placing numerous contract and permanent staff with the company, including two permanent Quality Engineers and 10 Contract Coding Engineers.  
    
Jenrick Engineering initially began working with the client due to them being unhappy with their existing supplier. Numerous contractors placed by the existing supply were leaving prior to the end of their contract, which vastly disrupted projects whilst incurring costs for the company. Jenrick recruitment approach and excellent candidate retention figures ensured that the client’s productivity and costs were immediately improved.
