Background:

Jenrick has recruited for this leading multinational defence company, renowned for the design, development and production of military pyrotechnics, since 2003. Their product range covers illumination, signalling, search and rescue, screening, training, law enforcement and high energy products.

Working with their Derby site, Jenrick has placed both contract and permanent staff during this period, most recently placing an Engineering & Technology Projects Leader and a Development Engineer at the company; both joined in August 2009 on a permanent basis.

The positions came about due to the departmental manager gaining a promotion and he needed to strengthen his technical team.

Due to the sensitivity of the roles, Jenrick also offered the Client office interview facilities at Jenrick Engineering’s Burton Office to enable them to interview candidates off site.

From the initial 4 interviews they did that day, they invited 2 people for 2nd interview on site at the Client’s facilities, and offered both of them permanent positions.
