Maintenance /Engineer/Technician/ Automotive/ Bromyard

We have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer/ Technician to work within a successful and challenging manufacturing business.

The role

The successful Maintenance Engineer/ Techanican will report to the Engineering Manager to work closely to maximise operational effectiveness and minimise downtime. Motivating, developing and leading a small team of engineers creating continuous improvement and efficiency, also to demonstrate a "hands on" approach providing support for all production activity to maintain machinery, planned maintenance measures, ensuring all Health & Safety guidelines are met and adhered to, also promoting all company values, policies and procedures in all aspects and areas of work.

The candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have C&G/DEGREE/HNC/HND in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with ideally a minimum of 3years experience within a maintenance environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience within an Automotive or automated production environment (other industries will be considered). The successful candidate will have the proven capability to understand and promote continuous improvement activities and projects throughout the factory.
