Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Control and Instrumentation engineer to carry out a multi-skilled role working with Electrical and PLC systems for the process power generation industry.
This is a static role maintaining and modifying existing systems based from the Cambridge site.
THE ROLE:
The main objective of work for the C&I engineer is to ensure that the electrical systems and processes (low to High voltage) operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
You will be working with specific control disciplines such as advanced process control (APC), distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
THE CANDIDATE:
You will be multi-skilled in both electrical and PLC systems (Allen Bradley / ABB / Mitsubishi) with experience of regular work on such systems. You will ideally have worked within a relative "Heavy" industry e.g Power Generation, Water Treatment, Petro-chemical etc.
You must be confident in troubleshooting and problem-solving and be flexible and adaptable with given tasks.
This is a days role with some rotational emergency call out
