The Role:-

As Maintenance Technician, you will provide breakdown support to manufacturing areas, carrying out improvements and preventative maintenance on all site equipment. This includes:-

Based in the workshop 20% of the time, and on the shop floor the remaining 80%
Routine maintenance of assembly equipment
Timely response to equipment stoppages
Improvements to assembly equipment (Kaizen)
Adherence to departmental systems (recording downtime, PM)
Identifying the direct effect on manufacturing equipment in terms of reliability, output rate and quality

The Suitable Candidate:-

Experienced Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled but Electrically Biased
Knowledge of HMI's and PLC's (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi)
Experience in Robotic Welding Equipment, Spot and MIG Welding
Reasonable level of mechanical aptitude including welding, fabrication and fitting
Experience in pneumatics and hydraulics
Recognised apprenticeship (electrical or electromechanical)
HNC Electrical or equivalent, and ideally C&G 17th Edition regulations
