MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER( CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT)
FMCG/FOOD
AFTERNOON/NIGHT SHIFT 4PM-12PM
BURTON ON TRENT/ DERBY
6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT ( VIEW TO GO PERM AT C £30,000)


An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Continuous improvement Engineer with an electrical bias to join one of the UK's leading food manufacturers. You must have recent FOOD / FMCG experience to be considered for this role, due to the pace of the manufacturing environment.

The suitable candidate will have the following skills and be able to demonstrate their application in previous job roles-

* Time Served Maintenance Engineer
* Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased). Mechanical back up would be an advantage
* Experience in planned preventative maintenance and progressive maintenance techniques.
* Delivering continuous improvement plans
* Monthly PPM schedule
* Working within Technical, Health and Safety and Hygiene procedures at all times.
* Self motivated, ambitious engineer looking for progression, able to drive forward plant improvements and improve reliability.


The role

* Reports to the Engineering Manager
* Working in a maintenance team
* Project work on improvements to the site
* Ideally carrying out more proactive planned preventative maintenance, and less reactive maintenance and fire fighting if possible
* Experience of either food/packaging or process industries
* Food industry experience is essential.
