We have 1 LIVE permanent role for a Multi-national FMCG organisation recruiting NOW! A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work in a team of Engineers working within a growing site.

Due to continued expansion there is now an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer in the Derbyshire area. Working for a leading food manufacturer you will be part of a company with a first class engineering pedigree and a strong market presence in the food industry.

Job Description

As a Systems engineer you will be responsible for the following

-A broad knowledge of the design of PLC & SCADA software for complex systems in machine control & process applications.
-Working on plant wide robotics and automation where specific experience in the Food Industry
-Must be capable of producing technical & functional specifications and developing control software from concept through to testing and commissioning
-Provide 24x7 manufacturer support
-Use techniques to identity and resolve issues on site.
-On going development of site PLC hardware and software infrastructure.

Essential Skills

Candidates should have experience / skills / background in:

-Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills with excellent analytical, design and problem solving skills and be committed to maintaining high quality standards.
-HND or vocational equivalents
-Technical and practice in depth knowledge and experience, development of process plants and their control systems to include SCADA (iFix), Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLC's, WinCC flexible, Profibus, Asi bus, Control Net, DeviceNet, and industrial Ethernet etc.
-Modern maintenance systems and techniques.
