Production Line Technician/North London/£20K - £21.5K

We are actively recruiting for a Production Line Technician who has experience and knowledge working within a demanding fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment, preferably Food.

The Production Line Technician will be responsible for a team of operators who will carry out production line checks at the start of each day to ensure the line is ready; all maintenance will be carried out in accordance with the Engineering team. From observing the production line you will need to identify faults and communicate these to the production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will need a proven background in a production environment, ideally with production supervisor experience and excellent communication skills as you will need to coach and communicate to your team and other departments.

Production Line Technician key requirements and responsibilities:

Production line experience
Motivate and manage production line team
Ideally mechanical maintenance skills
Ideally a can (Drinks industry) manufacturing background
Supervisory experience
Fault finding and problem solving skills
Background in routine maintenance
Hands on approach
Lead and comply with Health and Safety Procedures
Deliver daily production plan
Stock Control, preferably experience of warehouse management systems
Team player
Good attention to detail
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
PC Literate
