Role: Quality Engineer
Location: Surrey - Guildford/Camberley
Salary: (6 month contract) up to £33,000 plus Benefits
Are you a pro-active Quality Engineer with a passion for automotive manufacturing, continuous improvement & quality management systems?
This global manufacturer of automotive components require a motivated Quality Engineer to join a team focused on continuous improvement within a Lean Manufacturing environment, ensuring accreditation and compliance to national & international standards, directives & approvals.
You will have excellent Continuous Improvement and problem solving skills. Experience with automotive Quality Management Systems (including ISO9001) is required..
As well as performing acceptance inspection & testing, you will generate quality plans for new and existing products. With the Supply Chain, you will maintain a continuous supplier quality improvement campaign, dealing with customer facing concerns & goods inwards inspection.
Work will take you onto customer sites to check the reliability of products in the field so previous experience of customer facing work is highly beneficial.
An HNC or equivalent experience is required, together with computer skills and a full driving licence.
