Job Description:
Position: FMCG Technical Manager / Quality Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £54,000 per annum + Bonus + 25 days holiday + Pension
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Location: Basingstoke, Reading, Andover, Alton area

The Role:
Most time will be spent within the UK manufacturing site however you will also be required to travel overseas to Europe and Asia to meet with customers/suppliers.
Your responsibilities will include:-
-Manage a team of 6 direct reports and 2 indirect reports
-Strategically plan and implement quality and cost saving improvements
-Ensure excellent quality standards are achieved and maintained
-Health and Safety
-Decide inbound and outbound quality control measures
-Control budget spend
 
 
Requirements:
 
Previous experience within a Quality Manager or Technical Manager role within Food, Beverage or non Food FMCG manufacturing.
Good Strategic planning experience
Strong people management skills
Excellent customer facing experience
Degree qualified (Preferred in a Scientific discipline) or with equivalent experience.
Food Safety qualified
Strong HACCP
