Quality / PPAP Engineer
Automotive Component Manufacturing
Heanor / Belper / Derbyshire
Immediate Start
3 Month Contract

Are you an experienced PPAP / Quality Engineer from an Automotive background, with experience in producing PPAP documentation, looking for a new opportunity to start immediately?

The suitable candidate will have the following skills and be able to demonstrate their application in previous job roles:-

*Experienced Quality Engineer / PPAP Engineer
*From an Automotive Precision Component Manufacturing background, ideally multiple parts / sub assembly manufacturing background
*Capable of planning new approaches to each new part or product.
*Experienced in APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, Flow Charts, FMEA's
*Excellent computer skills and ideally Time Served or equivalent

The role:-

*As Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for joining a small team working on new product introduction projects
*You will manage and produce all project documentation including formulating PPAP documentation, from FMEA's, control plans, process flow charts etc
*Producing customer PPAP's, you will be the first point of contact with respect to any customer concerns.
*Deal with / initiate containment and/or corrective actions
*Deal with any supplier quality activities/concerns.
