Quality Assurance Manager/South East Hertfordshire/£24-27k

Due to business growth we are actively recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager who has experience working within a demanding food environment
The Quality Assurance Manager should be a self starter highly motivated and very diplomatic in their approach, good people management skills and experienced working within a quality role.

You will be directly reporting to the Technical manager and filling his position when required.

General Duties include:

*Manage quality Controls
*deliver internal audits and assist in 3rd party audits
*Internal quality panels/daily taste panels.
*Organise samples for customer panels
*highlight issues from production lines
*market reviews from customers
*process paperwork reviews
*personal hygiene swab testing
*plant hygiene maintaining GMP
*Goods In/documentation
*Process control records
*Project assist technical Manager


Qualified to a degree/HND stand level in a food discipline is desired

A degree or equivalent professional qualification in a food discipline is desirable for this Quality Manager's position, and a person who can demonstrate knowledge and expertise in their manufacturing field, a team player and leader, strong judgement, diplomatic and who can demonstrate work within set regulatory responsibilities.
You must be familiar with the requirements of the BRC Global Standard for food safety.
Familiar with the Tesco Food manufacturing standard is also advantageous.
