Are you an experienced Aerospace Commercial Manager with a background managing aerospace spares and repairs, looking for a new challenge working for a leading manufacturer with over 40 years experience in their field?
Working in a new purpose built facility employing over 300 personnel, specialising in the design and manufacture of sealing concepts for the aerospace, marine, and nuclear sectors, this company:

The suitable candidate will have the following skills and be able to demonstrate their application in previous job roles:-
* From an Aerospace background with experience in managing in a commercial environment providing support to customers requiring repair, spares etc
* Previous experience of working on aerospace programs servicing Aircraft On Ground situations
* Able to work to short timescales, make decisions and work under pressure
* Good understanding of Aircraft Engineering and Engineering terminology
* Good Understanding of the commercially acceptable rates for spares/AOG parts
* Able to demonstrate detailed product knowledge and an ability to use this to identify engineering solutions to AOG situations
* Able to read engineering drawings, documentation, maintenance manuals
* Good knowledge of SAP or similar application understanding functions such as material master requirements as well as other modules such as Purchasing, Engineering
* Aircraft and or Engineering Experience / Knowledge, specifically BAE 146 and Jetstream Aircraft is highly desirable.
The role:-
* To provide immediate spares support to customers for AOG requirements.
* Expedite internal and external sources to provide the most immediate support to the customer.
* Interface with appropriate levels of management internally and externally to achieve the highest levels of service to our customers.
* Provide "out of hours" link with engineering AOG support, ensuring that information is passed to the engineering AOG support on call staff ASAP.
* Provide regular and timely updates to customers advising the status of routine, critical and AOG orders.
* Keep open AOG backorders to a minimum.
* Sourcing and purchasing of AOG spares where necessary.
* Obtain Price agreement from customer for expedite and non-standard charges
