Job Description:
Facilities Engineer required for a years contract in Lincoln/Peterborough/Northamptonshire area. As an experienced Facilities Engineer you will provide continuous improvement methods for the facilities team. Identify, prioritise, plan and implement a wide range of plant engineering projects, optimising plant layouts to support a lean manufacturing environment. Working closely day to day with the Facilities team leader, reporting to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager.

Facilities Engineer responsibilities:
Promote and implement systems and methods for the continuous improvement of the entire facilities related process and operational metrics.
To control manage and develop existing site drawings and plans for buildings / utilities and services using Auto CAD
Responsible to plan and maintain work on facilities and buildings.
Accountable to deliver and optimise up-time for all facilities and utilities.
Responsibility to project manage plans for all remedial and project work and ensure effective communicated to all BU's effected.

The successful Facilities Engineer will have significant experience in a relevant Engineering discipline after suitable education and training. Knowledge of building regulations. In depth knowledge of facilities, equipment, services and utilities. Contractor management experience.
Familiarity and the ability to work with an Auto CAD package.

This position is commutable from Leicester, Peterborough, Corby, Kettering, Wisbech
