Job Description:
Seeking to recruit a high calibre Engineering Manager. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager;
The Challenge;
Playing a key role in the site's senior management team to ensure that performance improvement targets are achieved. You will provide strategic input as part of the management team to lead the business forward
You will have control of the site engineering budget and be responsible for delivering effective leadership to ensure maximum factory output through focused KPI's.
You will have comprehensive experience of planned preventative maintenance, progressive maintenance techniques and continuous improvement, progressive maintenance techniques and continuous improvement initiatives that have a direct impact on business performance.
You will lead a committed engineering team with the emphasis on operational delivery and inspiring a culture of continuous improvements.
You will be responsible for the day to day high quality management of your team performance, HR, Health and Safety and Development requirements.
Seeking;
An exceptional, self motivated Manager with excellent leadership skills and demonstrable management ability.
You will have a proven track record of successfully managing a team within a food manufacturing environment.
You will be an exceptional communicator who can effectively interface with all management levels, manufacturing teams, suppliers and customers.
