Job Description:
Currently seeking to recruit a Engineering Team Leader / Supervisor from the Automation / FMCG / Production / Food industry to be based in the East Midlands / West Midlands area with an excellent salary.
The Engineering Team Leader / Supervisor is required to demonstrate the ability to lead and direct a team of maintenance engineers and carry out hands on maintenance to ensure the plant runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Engineering Team Leader / Supervisor will be ideally time served / apprentice trained with electrical bias hands on, multi skilled and supervisory experience.
The Engineering Team Leader / Shift Engineering / Supervisor will require to:
* Motivate, develop and manage a team of engineers
* Have excellent knowledge of health and safety
* Have knowledge of PLC's is advantageous i.e. Siemens preferable
* Scheduling and prioritising workload's
* Conduct Risk Assessments
* Optimise machine availability
* Manage shift activities
* Improve KPIs
You will be multi skilled or be working towards achieving multi skilling status.
Competent in fault finding and diagnostic techniques
Ideally you will have a supervisory qualification or proven experience and have a HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
