Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager with a background in the FMCG industry, looking for an exciting new challenge?. Working for a leading manufacturer and world wide brand in the Nottingham area, offering a salary £30-40K.

Working for this superior production facility, specialising in the manufacture of Health and Beauty products directly into a major high street retailers.

The suitable candidate will have the following skills and be able to demonstrate their application in previous job roles-

* Background in FMCG Manufacturing
* Excellent People Management skills to motivate, lead people and drive change
* Detailed Experience in Planned Preventative Maintenance
* Experienced in Developing progressive maintenance techniques and continuous improvement activities
* Previous experience of providing technical support into operational teams and driving performance in terms of reliability and cost.
* Able to develop and implement an asset care programme common to all Value Streams
* Able to introduce and sustain use of CI tools to support development of asset care programme
* Develops training plan to ensure Engineering skill levels remain 'in touch' with Value Stream asset base
* Maintains an overview of Value Stream performance and adjusts asset care programme as necessary
* Identifies the need for change and challenges the status quo
* Understands performance KPI's and targets
* Works with Value Stream Engineers to ensure delivery against targets
* Facilitates and leads areas of Engineering Continuous Improvement
* Has a working knowledge of CI tools and techniques
* Clearly demonstrate financial audit performance of CI and Engineering initiatives
* Able to recognise areas requiring support and act accordingly







In addition, it would be beneficial to have

* Equipment spend experience
* Experience of analysis of plant performance and maintenance regimes
* Experience of driving through reliability to support the operational teams

The role

* Through strong leadership, drive a maintenance plan & program for operational requirements
* Influence the effective implementation of standards and safe working systems within Maintenance programs throughout the plant.
* Support the leadership in designing preventative maintenance and condition monitoring systems.
* Work with the support FLM's to ensure effective execution of all shutdown and start up activities.
* Ensure that all planned activities add value and are at the right frequency.
* Ensure that all major breakdowns have a clear root cause analysis that is completed and communicated to all shifts
* Lead the interaction for the site with key contractors and suppliers

You will be required to manage and develop the maintenance team and challenge them to look for better ways to execute. You will also be required to think outside the box and have a degree of pragmatic intellect.
