Job Description:
Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer required to work within one of the most diversified automotive suppliers in the world. Working a 12 hour continental shift system with a salary of £34,000 - £36,600. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have experience of working within the Automotive sector.
The Maintenance Engineer will be Electrically biased and be responsible for:
Responding to breakdowns, or imminent failures
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)/ TPM
Use root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of failures
Provide engineering and technical services to improve the performance of the plant
Ensure compliance to TS 16949
Comply with COSHH Risk Assessments
Continuous Improvement Activities
Ideally the Maintenance Engineer will have served a formal apprenticeship within an electro-mechanical environment with a strong knowledge of Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC's and Robotics. Proven experience of working within an automotive environment and working with conveyor systems, control systems, motors, drives. Ideally with experience of working with Paint Shop.
