Job Description:
A worldwide player in the Water Treatment industry is looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to work within their Rugby based multi-national proposals and operations department.
The position offers some opportunity to travel on a worldwide basis.

THE ROLE:

To provide Electrical Design support to the Proposals and Operations departments for water and waste water projects.
Primary role will be to support the production of multi-disciplined, large tenders for the water industry. Scope will be all aspects of IECA varying from HV Power (33KV Step down transformers), LV distribution, MCC design, Instrumentation & knowledge of PLC Controls.

To have the ability to compile load schedules, instrument list, produce I.O counts, undertake cable schedules and all other aspects of EICA documentation production and specify requirements for coding and testing of PLC and MMI software.
To review specifications and drawings to ensure electrical scope is implemented in line with contract specification.


THE CANDIDATE:
- Experience required of design within the water treatment industry or good understand of its processes including mechanical calculations such as pipe losses and Pipe sizes. (may also be gained from a petro-chemical environment).
- Experience of applying systems and standardising process.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate a team of Design Engineers (Mostly sub-contract - 5-10)
- Extensive working knowledge of design software. (Inventor 3D about to be integrated)
- Assist in the provision of training to other engineers and departments


QUALIFICATIONS:
Electrical Engineering degree or HND with suitable level of water treatment experience.
