Are you an experienced Estimating Engineer from a heavy engineering background with experience in producing estimates for heavy fabrication and machining work, looking for a new challenge?

Working for a growing, established company based in South Yorkshire, offering excellent potential for advancement in a very pro-active and progressive environment. Working for a company with a long established history of excellence in their field, specialising in design and project management, through to manufacture and on site installation. The company:-

* Have been established over 35 years
* Has a large and well equipped manufacturing facility, providing a fully comprehensive service
* Extensive range of services from one off bespoke applications to full turnkey projects, from £2K to £2M
* Current strategy to increase customer portfolio and move towards more specialist niche markets

The suitable candidate will have the following skills and be able to demonstrate their application in previous job roles:-

* Previous experience working in an Estimating role
* From a heavy mechanical engineering background, materials handling or steel industry
* Able to produce estimates for large fabrication / machining work
* Team Player and good communicator at all levels
* HNC Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent

The role:-

* Reports directly to the Operations Director, working in a small team of 3
* This is a senior role, comprising the day to day operation and control of the Estimating department, producing accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from detailed manufacturing drawings covering a wide variety of both machining and fabrication work.
