We now have an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer in the Tamworth area. Working for one of Europe's largest manufacturers you will be required to ensure the effective operation of manufacturing processes within a highly dynamic company.

Currently in a Process Engineer role you will take responsibility for several processes. You will take ownership of your lines and ensure that they run to current specifications and to also challenge the lines capabilities to see if you can make the boards more cost effectively or to higher levels of technology.

You will need to ensure that the manufacturing processes under your control are continually developed and improved to ensure that technological advancements can be realised and an essential part of this role will be to ensure that Process documentation including operating methods are clearly documented and maintained up to date. You will be required to initiate corrective actions, training plans and process improvements where necessary to ensure that the processes under your control operate at their optimum level.

The Process Engineer role requires an individual who has extensive engineering or manufacturing knowledge and will hold a formal engineering qualification. Experience of Lean Manufacturing is essential as is the ability to be able to demonstrate that you have been successful in defining, introducing and institutionalizing process improvements.

We are looking for a Process Engineer who is an effective communicator, self disciplined, be able to use ones own initiative and be an effective team player. You will be a highly conscientious and self motivated individual focused on success through continual career development.

In return you will be offered an attractive package of up to £28K dependant on the level of experience in the industry and the skills you can bring to the role.
