Process Engineer
Automotive Assembly Manufacturing
West Midlands
3 Month Temporary Contract
c£18-19 per hour, Limited Company

Are you an experienced Automotive Process Engineer, available immediately to start a temporary contract for a leading manufacturer who build highly complex products that have to meet the highest automotive performance standards.

The company:-

* Employ over 100 people on this site which has been established over 10 years
* Are renowned for reliability and innovation in their field
* Have plants worldwide in over 20 countries

The suitable candidate will have the following skills and be able to demonstrate their application in previous job roles:-

* Process Engineer or Production Engineer background
* Automotive Assembly Manufacturing background essential
* Previous hands on experience working on the shop floor identifying process improvements in all areas
* Knowledge of automated production lines, hand tools and fixings

The role:-

* Reporting to the Engineering Manager
* Working on the shop floor, with the production teams monitoring day to day line issues and problems arising
* Continually looking for ways of optimising the entire production process by evaluating assembly lines to a) ensure layouts are most effective, b) ensure labour utilisation is optimised, c) can the process be improved / made easier etc.
