The suitable candidate will have the following skills and be able to demonstrate their application in previous job roles:-

* Experienced Site Engineering Manager
* From a Food, Drinks, FMCG, Brewing or Pharmaceutical Industry background
* Knowledge of world class manufacturing processes
* Experience of implementing capital projects, maintenance and operations

In addition, it would be beneficial to have:-

* A formal engineering qualification, ideally degree or equivalent
* Ability to inspire and develop a talented team of engineers
* Forward thinking individual, dynamic character and a strategic thinker

This position will allow you to make a big impact as the effectiveness of the plant is a key priority for their leadership team. You will be in a prime position to explore the engineering network across their UK sites, and as they're investing across all sites you'll have first hand exposure to all their engineering innovations.

The role:-

* You will take responsibility for all engineering processes throughout the site, reporting to the General Manager, optimising their approach in all areas of engineering
* You will have complete autonomy to make strategic decisions and drive results for one of the UK's leading companies in their field
* Set objectives, priorities, standards and lead cultural change processes
* Build a winning engineering team
* Ensure that all health, safety and environment, quality, cost and reliability standards are met
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the long-term manufacturing strategy
* Develop, manage and implement the site engineering strategy
