Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer from a Process Design background?
THE COMPANY

THE JOB
Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for delivering Mechanical Engineering Designs/Specifications to agreed budgets and timescales
Key Tasks:
- Carrying out pressure drop calculations for pipework systems
- Sizing and specifying Pumps and Valves
- Sizing and specifying Pressure Vessels (to codes such as ASME and PD5500)
- Carrying out technical bid analysis
- Liaising with suppliers in order to resolve technical queries
THE CANDIDATE
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
- Experienced within a liquid processing environment eg. Water Treatment, Chemical Engineering, Beverage
- Able to read and interpret complex industry related documents
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings relating to process equipment
- Knowledge of relevant codes, tables and standard reference books used for design, machining, fabrication and assembly techniques
