Decoma Sybex – Oct 2008

Background:

Decoma Sybex, part of the Magna Group, is a manufacturer of exterior parts for the automotive industry, which involves injection moulding, painting and assembling of parts before onward distribution to customers.

The site that Jenrick Engineering places candidates is based in Banbury in Oxfordshire, whilst the Magna Group has manufacturing divisions and engineering facilities located in North America (Canada, United States and Mexico) and Europe (Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium, Poland and Austria).

Jenrick Engineering has been working with Decoma Sybex since 2007 and has recently placed two Injection Mould Tool Setters at the plant. They were originally looking for 1 engineer but liked both applicants so much, they recruited the two of them.

Prior to this, Carmel Curley placed a Maintenance Engineer with the company – within, just 2 weeks of taking the position. Carmel has also placed contract and permanent Maintenance Engineers within the company’s Dunstable site.

Testimonial:

"Dear Jenrick Engineering,

I am writing to comment on the professional, personable and knowledgeable service provided to us by Carmel Curley at Jenrick Engineering.

We manufacture exterior parts for the automotive industry, which involves injection moulding, painting and assembling of parts before onward distribution to our customers. To aid with the moulding and painting processes we require skilled maintenance technicians who possess a fairly unique skill set and experience.

Jenrick Engineering, Carmel in particular, managed to source us the right candidates not only in terms of skill set and experience, but in terms of personality fit within the team and the Company.

I would not hesitate in recommending Carmel and Jenrick Engineering to other organisations."
