Background:
Wesley Nichols (Account Manager) at Jenrick Engineering has been working with Bakkavor Tilmanstone Salads since 2008, recruiting both contract and permanent engineering staff.
Bakkavor Tilmanstone Salads is part of the Bakkavor Group, employing over 19,000 people and operate in 10 countries. The Tilmanstone Salads site employs 600 staff.
Most recently Wes placed a Contract Maintenance Engineer within the company. The candidate was specifically required to have Electro Mechanical skills.
Wes has also recruited a contract Mechanical Fitter, both permanent & contract Quality Controllers and numerous permanent & contract Maintenance Engineers.
Wes has developed an excellent relationship with the client and works with both the Line Management Team, to qualify the roles, and also with the HR team to ensure all both parties are in the loop throughout the recruitment process.
Wes also provided the Line Managers and HR with essential market information regarding salary expectations. The information resulted in the client increasing the base package for the role, by £2,000, to ensure they did not lose the candidate to a competitor.
