&lt;br/&gt;The Role:- 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;As Metrologist, you will work in the Quality Control Office, responsible for a variety of measurement tasks from short first off/last off jobs to much longer and more complex layout inspections or Initial Sample Inspection Reports. 
&lt;br/&gt;Above all accuracy and flexibility is key, as production demand a quick turnaround of first off's to maximise efficiency. Measurement tools available are 2 C.M.M. machines including a modern just purchased OGP machine including optical capability, plus verniers and shadowgraph. Training on the C.M.M. to adjust to a new type of machine is available but if you are conversant with Measuremind this will be an advantage.

&lt;br/&gt;*Design and manufacture high quality equipment for the FMCG Industry
&lt;br/&gt;*Established over 25 years, supplying over 50 countries worldwide
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The Role:-
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;*Leading a team of 6, in achieving key product development related business goals
&lt;br/&gt;*Responsible for new product development, quality and project execution
&lt;br/&gt;*Responsible for people and team skill deployment and performance management
&lt;br/&gt;*Budget management and warranty at launch
&lt;br/&gt;*Manufacturing support and supplier selection and quality
&lt;br/&gt;*Ensuring launches of new products are executed with high quality, reliability, while on time and within budget
&lt;br/&gt;*Co-ordinate with Product Management in the development of Product Roadmaps, and with the Design Manager on Technology Roadmaps
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The Suitable Candidate:-
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;*An experienced Engineering Project Manager with a proven track record in managing New Product Introduction Projects in an engineering manufacturing environment
&lt;br/&gt;*Ideally from a complex mechanical or electromechanical precision engineering product background
&lt;br/&gt;*Extensive experience in leading large cross functional projects from concept to production
&lt;br/&gt;*Able to build rapport, progress chase, and create and analyse project financials
&lt;br/&gt;*Excellent people management skills, with the ability to coach and get the best out of people
&lt;br/&gt;*Ability to facilitate teams through the use of risk reducing tools
&lt;br/&gt;*Able to prioritise opportunities based on resource constraints
&lt;br/&gt;*Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt would be ideal
&lt;br/&gt;*Degree in an Engineering related discipline or equivalent
&lt;br/&gt;
