We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work with a UK wide and leading name in food processing and supply based in the Lincolnshire area.
The role would suit a mechanical biased multi-skilled engineer.

THE ROLE
The company uses various machinery for the manufacture and production of a food product.
You will be required to carry out PPM, breakdown and repair of machines and equipment including roller bearing changes, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical fault finding up to PLC level.

THE CANDIDATE
You will be a physically fit, mechanical biased engineer with proficient welding skills in Tig (coupled with Mig or Stick).
You will MUST have knowledge and experience of maintaining equipment from the food industry.
You must have good all-round mechanical skills with basic electrical fault finding experience.

This is a permanent nights position, you must be happy in working a Sunday to Thursday Night-shift role

New starters will start on days for 2-3 weeks before going onto night shifts

Project Engineer

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Engineer to carry out varied work for a company working with the process industry from the Cambridgeshire area. You will be involved in all stages of projects from initial site surveys to specification of equipment and general layout of pipework and associated equipment.

DAILY ACTIVITY
You will work from the initial stages of contact with the client carrying out surveys, specification of process equipment, Risk assessing projects, layout and designing of piping infrastructure and schematics. This will include P&ID's and supporting documentation.
You will occasionally be required to travel to site to ensure accurate design but the majority of work will be carried out from the Cambridgeshire office.

THE CANDIDATE:

THE ROLE
The company is in a period of growth so will consider applicants from all area's of the UK although you may be required at times to travel to Ireland and Europe.

Job Purpose:

7. Training and provision of guidance to the shift extrusion teams as necessary.
8. Maintain effective communication with the opposite technician team.
9. Ensure that all activity associated with the job is carried out to regulatory & internal SHE guidelines.
10. Maintenance of all paperwork & documentation as required.
11. Undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time.

Production Line Technician

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient running of the production line. You will be required to meet the requirements of the production plan, whilst minimising downtime and maximising production whilst maintaining health, safety and quality at all times.

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for a team of four technicians who will carry out production line checks at the start of each day to ensure the line is ready; all maintenance will be carried out in accordance with the Engineering team. The role:

* Import Export Management
* Generate export and home invoicing ensuring compliance with regulations
* Management and point of contact for import/export instructions including IPR and OPR management log and returns
* Management of import/export issues form NPI (New product introduction) and contract review process - screening customers/recipient countries license determination/categorisation of products in line with regulatory guidance
* Carry out work place risk assessments on import/export process
* Assist with management of (HMRC & DBIS audits and inspections
* Investigation of breaches or "near misses" and compile reports and actions including BIS
* Review and act on applicable legislation ensuring up to date latest revisions
* Assist with drafting Trade and Import Compliance Policies and Procedures to world class compliance.
* Liaise with trade compliance officer to ensure that compliance issues and dealt with and assist with any investigations in connection with government disclosures.

A leading manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to be a part of a growing team. This client manufactures a variety of short shelf life products that are produced in vast quantities and need Engineers that can respond quickly to all breakdowns as it is paramount to get the machine/production line back up and running as soon as possible. Other than breakdowns, Engineers work to a planned preventative maintenance schedule, working through projects and carrying out building maintenance.

Being electrically biased you will be required to read electrical schematics, perform live functional testing on control panels and also have a decent understanding of PLC analogue input and output cards.
