Previously, I was a a Recruitment Consultant successfully recruiting for Industrial Staff and Her Majesty’s Prison Service.
Following that, I took a break to have my second son. During that time, I had really missed recruitment and decided I was ready to start my search to get back to work and conveniently I saw the advertisement for Jenrick.
Straight away, I investigated their website. I was impressed to find the number of awards that Jenrick had been voted for and that the company is far more specialised than anything I’d done before. So, I immediately sent my CV to “Mrs Alton” and was called for an interview the very next day. Two interviews and a nerve-racking presentation later, the job was mine!!!!
Jenrick itself came across as very professional with a clear understanding of the Engineering market and are obviously extremely successful in their own right – so I wanted to be a part of this!
I decided to go for the role as Delivery Consultant to work with Karen. After speaking with her, we are actually very similar in the way that we work and I hope to develop my recruiting skills further here so I can be as successful as her.
When I'm not working I spend every spare minute with my children. My eldest son plays for a local football team which does seem to take a lot of time with endless training and cleaning dirty kits and boots!! My 19 month old makes just as much mess! But when I do get time to myself my passion lies with “Zumba Fitness." I also adore Salsa dancing and swimming.
